Complexing of some metal ions with pseudohalide and halide ligands in nonaqueous media
Description
Interrelation between the stability of cadmium, indium and some other metal complexes with halide, linear (SCN, SeCN) and nonlinear (N(CN)2, C(CN)3, ONC(CN)2) pseudohalide ligands was considered. The pseudohalide nature of N(CN)2-, C(CN)3- and ONC(CN)2 ions in solutions has been confirmed. Some correlation dependences permitting to predict the stability of complexes with the mentioned ligands in non-aqueous solvents have been confirmed
