Calculation of the effective operation rate of high vacuum pumps behind the heat shields

Description

The lay-outs of an external pump behind a cryogenic shield that may be of practical importance have been investigated and relations have been obtained for the evacuation rate versus cryogenic panel geometry. The investigation is carried out using the Knudsen gas flow model
