Description
This Order was made under Order No. 56 of 17 February 1977 on the use of X-ray installations etc., which prescribes that safety measures must be taken to ensure radiation protection on the basis of the recommendations of the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP). The Order also implements at national level the Directive of the Council of the European Communities of 15 July 1980 amending the previous Directives laying down basic safety standards for protection against ionizing radiation. This Order came into force on 1 January 1982. (NEA)

Cet Arrete a ete pris en vertu de l'Arrete no. 56 du 17 fevrier 1977 relatif a l'emploi des installations a rayons X, etc.; il prevoit que des mesures de securite doivent etre prises en vue d'assurer la protection contre les radiations, sur la base des recommandations de la Commission internationale de protection radiologique (CIPR). L'Arrete met egalement en oeuvre sur le plan national la Directive du Conseil des Communautes Europeennes du 15 juillet 1980 modifiant les Directives anterieures instituant des normes de base pour la protection contre les rayonnements ionisants. Le present Arrete est entre en vigueur le 1er janvier 1982
