Computer network system for data processing on GEKKO XII experiment

Description
A computer network system has been developed for data processing for the GEKKO XII laser fusion experiments. This network system works very efficiently for rapid data transfer, data sharing among different computers, and simplified handling of image data. Present status of the architecture and the functions of the computer network system for data processing at the Institute of Laser Engineering, Osaka University are reported. (author)
