On the annual and semiannual variation of cosmic rays

Description

We have studied the annual and semiannual waves of the cosmic ray intensity for two neutron stations. We have found that an annual train of recurrences during 1959-69 is significant and may be attributed to the North-South asymmetry of the solar activity in the same time interval. We find also that semiannual wave possibly due to the oscillations of the Earth heliolatitude cannot be discovered by only analysing the 28 years-data series we have used
