Proceedings of the seminar on separation science in radiopharmaceuticals

Separation science has significant role in the pharmaceutical industries. In this thematic bulletin, we are bringing out the articles covering the application of separation science in the radiopharmaceutical science. These articles cover the topics like development of nanosorbents for radionuclide generator technology, electrochemistry in the separation of radioisotopes for nuclear medicine, role of separation science and technology for the production and isolation of various important radionuclides for radiopharmaceutical applications, viz. ¹³¹I, ³³Mo, ¹⁷⁷Lu and various cyclotron produced isotopes. Importance of separation science in the purification of drugs or peptides at various stages of their synthesis is also brought out in this document. Papers relevant to INIS are indexed separately
