Effect of labelling with the radioisotope 65Zn on the performance of the eulophid, Colpoclypeus florus, a parasite of tortricidae
Description
Effects of the radioisotope 65Zn used to label Colpoclypeus florus Wlk. were studied. Labelled parents did not show any decrease in parasitizing ability. Radioactive labelling shortened the adult life span to a certain degree depending on rearing conditions. It also increased embryonic and larval mortality of the progeny to some extent. (Auth.)
