Spent fuel storage vessel

Description

The present invention concerns a storage vessel in which attaching portions for inner heat-conductive fins are improved. A lead wall member made of α-ray shielding material is contained between an inner cylinder and an intermediate cylinder of a storage vessel. The intermediate cylinder and the outer cylinder consist of copper-clad stainless steel plates formed by combining stainless steel plates and copper plates, the copper-side of each of them is opposed, and inner heat-conductive fins made of copper are welded to the copper portions of the intermediate cylinder and the outer cylinder. Since the joined portion is formed by copper-to-copper welding, the welding is facilitated, and satisfactory welded portions can be formed. (T.M.)
