Description
Apparatus for producing ozone from oxygen comprises a casing in which oxygen is bombarded with radiation from a radioactive source or electric lamp. The latter consists of a tube filled with deuterium, xenon or a mixture of these, depending on the radiation wavelength required. Ozone can be used for purifying water. (UK)
