Thermal decomposition of alkali metal fluorouranylates

Description

Results of studying thermal UO2F2 decomposition are analyzed. The conditions are found that exclude UO2F2 thermal decomposition. UO2F2 melting temperature is found to be 1303+-5 K. The DTA method in the argon atmosphere is used to study the UO2F2-Na(UO2)2F5 phase diagram. Melting temperatures of UO2F2 complex compounds with alkali metal fluorides are presented. Regularities of alterations in melting temperatures of alkali metal fluorouranylates are considered from crystallochemical viewpoints
