Description
Odd-even staggering in the rotational bands of odd-A, and odd-odd nuclei is the most significant characteristic linked to the signature quantum number. In this paper an empirical rule have been tested for verifying and predicting the favoured signature in three-quasiparticle (3 qp) rotational bands
