Investigation of Frenkel defects in low temperature irradiated gold by diffusive X-ray scattering
Description
Diffuse X-ray scattering (CuKα1) measurements near Bragg reflections are performed on gold single crystal samples after electron irradiation at low temperature (5 k, 3 MeV) in order to study the changes of residual resistivity and of lattice-parameters. The diffuse scattering measurements are performed in the neighbourhood of the (400)-, (200)- and (220)-reflections in the direction parallel and perpendicular to the scattering vector. An exposure of 2-8 1018 e-/cm2 changes the residual resistivity in the interval 21-102 nΩcm. (orig.)

An Gold-Einkristallproben wurden nach Tieftemperatur-Elektronenbestrahlung (5 K, 3 MeV) die diffuse Roentgenstreuung (CuKα1) in der Naehe der Bragg-Reflexe, die Restwiderstands- und die Gitterparameter-Aenderung untersucht. Die Messungen der diffusen Streuung erfolgten am (400)-, (200)- und (220)-Reflex in Richtung parallel und senkrecht zum Streuvektor. Die Bestrahlungsdosis lag zwischen (2-8).1018 e-/cm2, und die entsprechende Aenderung des elektrischen Restwiderstandes betrug zwischen 21 und 102 nΩcm. (orig.)
