Thermochemistry and thermodynamics of alkali metal borohydrides high-temperature formation reactions
Description
Thermodynamical estimation has been made of the various reactions leading to formation of boron hydrides of alkaline and alkaline-earth metals. The thermal effects and the isobaric potentials have been calculated for 37 reactions of formation of boron hydrides of lithium sodium and potassium from the following compounds: a)boron oxide, an alkali metal and hydrogen; b)boron oxide (or sodium borate), metallic sodium and hydrogen in the presence of an acid oxide or an amphoteric c) sodium borate, a reductant, and hydrogen; d) sodium borate, a reductant, and hydrogen in the presence of sodium oxide; e) sodium borate and alkaline-earth metal hydride
