Description
Babcock ampersand Wilcox (B ampersand W) designed and fabricated the experimental nuclear reactor (CX), for the Space Nuclear Thermal Propulsion (SNTP) program sponsored by the U.S. Air Force. The CX had an excess reactivity between $2.0 and $2.5. Variations in differential boric acid worth depending on the method used for balancing the reactivity are discussed in this paper
