Monte Carlo simulation of few-keV positrons penetrating in solids
Description
The initial depth distributions, in selected materials, of thermalized positrons having initial incident energies in the range 1-10 keV, are simulated by a Monte Carlo code utilizing the Relativistic Partial Wave Expansion Method for the calculation of the differential elastic scattering cross section and the Ashley method for calculating stopping power and inelastic mean free path.
