Description
The effects of the explicit treatment of multiquark confined states in the nonrelativistic quark potential model are studied for the two-nucleon systems. The improved variational ansatz including the confined quark component is shown to generate a new mechanism for the short-range attraction in nuclear force which described scattering via intermediate confined multiquark states. For the appropriate choice of the quark model parameters the new potential reproduces qualitatively the energy behaviour of the s-wave phase shift and predicts the deuteron existence as a bound state of a six-quark system. The obtained results may be also considered as the first example of dynamical calculations of nucleon-nucleon scattering in the quark compound bag method using an explicit form of the six-quark Hamiltonian
