Basic plan and design of BWR plant in Toshiba
Description
The aggregate capacity of the nuclear power plants now occupies 12% of the overall generating capacity in Japan. The understanding of the importance of nuclear power plants in the future and the reliable safety are now sought among the nation. Toshiba, Making the most of the fruits of researches and experience in the design and construction of nuclear power plants for the past 10-odd years, have made utmost efforts for the improvement of technology about facilities in this field to be fully relied upon by the nation. Toshiba's policies for the improvement and development and the basic ideas for planning and designing are represented here. (author)
