Stability of symmetrical compression of cylindrical liner, simulated by wire system

Description

Low-inductive multiwire structures (''errea'') used as load in high-current diodes are considered. ''Errea'' have allowed to reach high plasma velocities (∼107 cm/s) and extreme parameters, and it has made them a perspective tool for the investigations of electromagnetic radiation powerful sources and dense plasma generators. They are of interest as well, concerning simulation of compression dynamics of cylindrical liners and z-pinches. Stability analysis of ''erreum'' symmetrical collapse is made with account of currents mutual inductive influence and conductors finite ohmic resistance. Results cover the case of uniform liner by the limit transition
