Composition for radon exhalation reducing

Description

In experiments to reduce the volumetric activity of radon on the surface of a radioactive tailings dump to the established radiation safety standards RSS-06 of the Republic of Tajikistan, compositions based on local raw materials of the following compositions, wt.%: sulfur-25; bentonite-15; magnetite-15; quartz sand-20; quartz crushed stone-25. A study of the dynamics of radon flux density on the thickness of the protective layer shows that with a thickness of the radon protective layer of 0.45 m, the value of radon flux density from the ground surface decreased by 4 times compared to the initial values.
