Improvement in technology of two-layer steel production

Description
To improve mechanical properties of two-layer steel sheets, 16GS + 12Kh18N10T(B) and 16GS + 08Kh13(A) bimetals were subjected to quenching and tempering under different conditions. After heat treatment and corrosion layer removal the samples were tested for tension and bending. It was shown that to increase mechanical and processing properties it was necessary to subject bimetal (B) to quenching with boosted tempering, and bimetal (A) - to quenching with usual tempering at 700-720 deg C
