On reactions in three-component system lanthanide halide-electro triisobutylaluminium

  • 1. AN SSSR, Ufa. Inst. Khimii

Description

The methods of infrared spectroscopy have been used to show that complexing takes place by oxygen atom of phosphoryl or sulphoxide group at the interaction between NdCl3 and tributylphosphate (TBP), NdCl3 and diamylsulphoxide, triisobutylaluminium (TIBA) and TBP. Thermal effect of the interaction reaction between TIBA and TBP is calculated; it is established that the addition products have the composition 1:1 and form at TIBA excess. The value of the thermal effect of the interaction reaction in the NdCl3x3TBP-TIBA system depends on ratio Nd:Al; in the interaction products the ratio is Nd:Al=1=2
