Experimental study on the bremsstrahlung spectra in the ''Forward'' direction for the materials with large Z under the action of 2.7 and 10.8 MeV electrons
Creators
Description
Spectra of ''forward'' gamma bremsstruhlung are measured for tantalum and tungsten targets on the linear accelerator at the energy incident electrons of 2.7 and 10.8 MeV. Bremsstruhlung spectra have been measured by scintillation spectrometer with NaI(Tl) crystal detector placed in a combined shield of concrete lead and steel. The MINSC-32 computer was used for data processing. FORTRAN was used in the computer code. To compare calculation data with experimental ones corrections were introduced into computer code taking into account for the real form of spectrum of accelerated electrons and gamma filtration in graphite absorber, good agreement between calculated and experimental data is observed
