effect of gamma irradiation and enzyme supplementation on the nutritional and biological values of tomato and pea wastes
Description
the present work was carried out on tomato and pea wastes as unconventional feedstuff for broiler chicks. those wastes were added to the diets at 10% after irradiated by dose levels of 0.75 and 100 KGy and supplemented with kemzyme at (i g/kg diet). the chicks fed on the experimental diets from 2-7 week of age. during feeding period, body weight gain and feed consumption were recorded weekly . at the end of the feeding period . birds were taken randomly to evaluate the carcass characteristics and blood serum parameters . digestibility trial was done to evaluate the digestibility of diets nutrients
