Description
The aim of this work is to determine diffusion parameter of different types of waterproof membranes and insulating materials by measuring continuously radon concentrations in source and receiver sides of the measurement device. Our methods were tested on three types of membranes from polyethylene foils of high, low and very low density (HDPE, LDPE and VLDPE). Measurement results were compared using two mathematical models for analytical solving the one-dimensional Fick's diffusion equation. The results are compared by other measurement results obtained in the intercomparison, from Prague. (author)
