Description

In this paper, we studied compact plate-fin heat exchangers for HTGR. We experimentally obtained properties of inelastic deformation and rupture strength of plate-fin structures, fabricated a recuperative heat exchanger of actual size, proposed the analysis method based on an equivalent homogeneous solid concept, and predicted thermal stress of compact plate-fin heat exchanger for HTGR.
