The role of radiation in the sterilization of medical products

Description
An outline is given of radiation sterilisation as a relatively new sterilisation technique and the advantages which this technique holds in both technical and economic fields are indicated. The microbiological basis of radiation sterilisation is outlined and the present status of this technique both overseas and in South Africa is finally discussed
