rf plasma sources for neutral-beam-injection systems. Quarterly technical progress report, 15 July 1982
Description
The following performance goals were met for both hydrogen and deuterium gas fill operation: (1) Ion current density of 250 mA/cm2 measured at the plane of the extraction grid. (2) Operation gas pressure of approximately 10 mTorr. (3) Combined spatial and temporal current density fluctuations of less than 10% peak to peak over the 10 cm x 10 cm extraction area
