Fast rotating particles: the electron magnetic moment

Creators

  • 1. Ben-Gurion Univ. of the Negev, Beersheba (Israel)

Description

In a recent paper the dynamical equations for rapidly rotating bodies were developed. Here the theory to calculate the electron magnetic moment is applied and it is shown that it has one Bohr magneton, in spite of the fact that its spin is only (h/2π)/2, in accordance with Uhlenbeck and Goudsmit's assumption
