Nuclear rotations in an arbitrary number of dimensions

Description
Nuclear yrast bands are described as arising from a rotational motion that takes place in a space of an arbitrary number of dimensions. A comparison is performed with experimental data throughout the Periodic Table for both ordinary and pairing rotations. (author)
