Description

The mathematical model of the acoustic emission generated by the different types of collective motions of imperfections is considered. The time dependence of the emitting intensity and the dependence of the characteristic spectrum on the typical imperfection degree of correlation is studied. The possibilities of the applications of the present approach to the identification of the imperfections and to the prediction of their development are discussed. (author). 3 ref., 2 figs
