Creators
Description
In Lecture No. 8 of the Lauriston S. Taylor Lectures in Radiation Protection and Measurements, Dr. Rossi discusses the limitation and assessment systems for the determination of radiation risks and the shortcomings of each system as they are presented in NCRP 39 and ICRP Publication 26. The complexity of radiation carcinogenesis is described and illustrated with discussions of neutron microdosimetry, inter- and intra-organ incoherence, stochastic and non-stochastic effects. 31 references, 4 figures
