Nuclear Γ-transitions and electronic bridges

Description
Nuclear γ-transitions via an electronic-bridge (EB) mechanism are considered theoretically. The relative probabilities for the elastic and inelastic EB deexcitation effect are calculated in the framework of Dirac-Hartree-Slater (DHS) model of atom. The probability of O+-O+ γ-transitions due to EB mechanism are discussed. The results of calculations are compared with experimental data. (orig.)
