The spherical model in a random external field
Description
The free energy of the spherical model is calculated in a random external field and the absence of ferromagnetism is proved if the dimension is ν < = 4, as well as existence of a ferromagnetic phase transition if ν > = 5 whenever the variance of the external field is sufficiently small. (Author)

Calcula-se a energia livre do modelo esferico medio em um campo magnetico aleatorio e prova-se a ausencia de ferromagnetismo se a dimensao do espaco for ν < = 4. Prova-se tambem a existencia de transicao se ν > = 5 e a varianca do campo for suficientemente pequena. (Autor)Additional details
