Investigation into some recrystallization regularities of M2O3 composition oxides
Description
Analyzed are recrystallization peculiarities of Al2O3, Sc2O3 and Y2O3 oxides in vacuum at 1400-1800 deg C. Noticeable structural changes are shown to take place even at 1400 deg C. V2O3, Sc2O3 oxides are stable up to 1600 deg C. Ceramics manufacturing method is stated to influence significantly the absolute rates of material recrystallization. The introduction of small quantities of impurities MgO into Al2O3 and ThO2 ZrO2 jointly with W into Y2O3 is highly effective for preventing active recrystallization
