Developing low-cost airborne radionuclide monitoring
Description
Using its new technique for measuring low-activity gamma particulates based on sodium iodide rather than germanium detectors, Siemens Environmental Systems has developed an airborne radionuclide monitoring system which is automated, cheaper and provides increased flexibility and convenience. The system is called PARM. (UK)
