Studies on the determination of some rare elements in geological samples carried out with inductively coupled plasma

  • 1. Nauchno-Izsledovatelski Proektantski Inst. za Rudodobiv i Obogatyavane, Sofia (Bulgaria)

Description

The study is carried out by a 350000C-ARL scanning spectroanalyzer. The spectral interferences accompanying the determination of the traces of In, Ga, Ge and Re are examined and the suitable analytical lines are established. Thus the places of background correction for different samples have been chosen. Different way have been applied to increase determination sensitivity: 1) optimizing the instrumental operating conditions for implementation of single-element analysis; 2) using the different chemical methods for separating the elements from the matrix and subsequent concentration of the solution.
