Photoelectron branching ratios and partial oscillator strengths for the photoionization of NO(20-60eV)
Description
Binding energy spectra and photoelectron branching ratios for NO have been obtained in the energy range 18-60 eV using dipole (e,2e) coincidence electron spectroscopy. The binding energy spectra show several structures in addition to those expected from an independent particle model of ionization. Partial photoionization oscillator strengths (cross-sections) are derived from the branching ratios and the total photoabsorption oscillator strength determined using the same apparatus. Agreement with the limited, direct photon-impact data available in the literature is generally good. (orig.)
