Investigation of excitation transfer processes between hydrogen isotopes by means of laser fluorescence
Description
The hydrogen-deuterium excitation transfer process is investigated experimentally for the case of the n=3 levels. Furthermore, a numerical simulation is provided for testing the method of analysis. The corresponding cross section is evaluated and compared with theoretically calculated values. Results of the numerical simulation are discussed. (author)
