Directed crystallization of bismuth
- 1. AN SSSR, Novosibirsk. Inst. Neorganicheskoj Khimii
Description
An investigation of concentrating impurities by direction crystallisation of bismuth has been carried out. The concentrating easi oxidable as compared with bismuth microelements is shown to be worsened with increase of thermodynamical stability of their oxides. For suppression of oxidation of impurities it is suggested to add smatt amount of magnesium. Directionat crystattization in combination with neutron-activation method has been used for determination of microamounts of elements in high-purity bismuth
