Description
The behaviour of the effective mass tensor in a tri-dimensional configuration space is presented during the fission process. Three mass asymmetries are selected to take into account different kinds of disintegration: alpha decay, cluster emission and cold fission. A comparison between these different processes is emphasized. The nuclear inertia is computed within the framework of the Werner-Wheeler approximation. (authors)
