Description
This paper presents software version of decision making logic of a 3-axis position control system for Radiation Field Analyzer (RFA). In this system decision making logic was written in high-level language instead of assembly language used in conventional microcontroller based systems. Besides that it has database support. This paper lists advantages of software control over hardware control. (author)
