Irradiation target analysis of Tulium in RSG-GA Siwabessy

Description
Radioisotope Tulium is one of the radioisotopes used as a health sector. It is produced by irradiating of Tm2O3 target especially in RSG-GAS. Both activity and heat transfer calculation of the target and calculation of thermal pressure are very important to be done to fulfill the customer's need and safe operation. The target activity and heat transfer were calculated by Origen-2 and GENTC respectively. The activity of 0.1 gram Tulium (Tm-170) after 5 days irradiated, at power 15 MW, neutron flux 1 x 1014 n/(cm2.second) and after decay 1 day was 2,163 Ci, while the temperature in the center of the target was 631,4523 °C, ft=29,7 Pa and fa= 14,85 Pa.
