Description
The high intensity pulse source of soft X-ray for calibration is formed by using X-rays emitted from laser-irradiated Au planar targets as X-ray source and then using two multilayer mirrors, which have approximately the same properties, as dispersive elements. On the 'Xingguang-II' high power laser facility experiment in 1994, the properties of the X-ray calibrating source were studied basically and some progress was made
