Low temperature magnetoelectric measurements on rare earth substituted bismuth layered structure ferroelectromagnetic ceramic
Creators
Description
Rare earth (La, Sm. Gd and Dy) substituted five-layered Bi6Fe2Ti3O18 (BFT) compounds were prepared by solid-state route. Room temperature and low temperature magnetoelectric measurements were performed on these samples. The variation of magnetoelectric susceptibility (dE/dH) with the applied magnetic field shows a signature of the presence of rare earth ions in the compound. The low temperature magnetoelectric measurements are corroborated with magnetisation data
