A U1 principal bundle theory for the Born-Infeld electrodynamics

Description
A U1-bundle formalism for the Born-Infeld electrodynamics is proposed and the equation of motion for a test particle in the Born-Infeld electromagnetic field is given. There are two forces acting on the particle in the equation. One corresponds to the Lorentz force and the other to the Poincare stress. (orig.)
