Methods for determination of zirconium and hafnium in common presence

Description
In the review for 1959-1984 the modern methods of determination of zirconium and hafnium small amounts in the case of their joint presence in different materials and substances are considered. According to the determination sensitivity of Zr(Hf) in Hf(Zr) the methods considered can be arranged in the following priority series: neutron activation > atomic-emission > X-ray fluorescent. The two latter methods are widely used for the control of technological processes of zirconium and hafnium separation. The necessity to expand the number of highly sensitive and selective methods of zirconium and hafnium determination in their joint presence is pointed out
