Thermo- and photo-induced crystallization of Sb40S60-xIx amorphous films

Description
The compositional dependence of the thermo- and photo-induced crystallization in ternary chalcohalide Sb40S60-xIx(0<x<30) thin films has been investigated, phase composition of films being determined by X-ray diffraction measurements. Three stages of phase transition between amorphous and crystalline states connected with the crystallization of SbSI, Sb and Sb2S3 were observed. It was found that phase transition temperatures and a number of crystallization in the investigated films was found to be mainly determined by thermal processes and can be described by the Avraami-Kolmogorov equation. Activation energies of photocrystallization process were estimated, too
