Description
Spontaneous chemical transformations of hafna- and zirconacyclopentadienes in dimethylformamide solutions at room temperature have been studied by 1H NMR spectroscopy. It has been established that in these reactions the processes of hydrogen transfer from cyclopentadienyl rings of hafnium and zirconium complexes to 1,3-butadienyl ligand take place to form the corresponding 1,3-diene and a complex containing (C5H4)2Zr(Hf) fragments. 7 refs
