Formation of the electron-positron pairs during absorption of π-mesons by 6Li nuclei
Description
General properties of polarization effects in the π-+6Li → 6He+e++e- reaction, 6Li and 6He nuclei being considered as elementary particle with definite values of the spin and space parity, are established. Dependence of the differential cross section of the π-+6Li → 6He+e++e- process on the vector and tensor polarizations of 6Li targets (with spin I=1) is determined within the framework of the single-photon mechanism by the collection of 41 real structure functions, which, in its turn, depend on five complex amplitudes of π-+6Li → 6He+γ* process, where γ* is the virtual photon. Using gradiently invariant generalization of the one-pion model, the relation of formation cross sections of longitudinal and transverse photons in π-+6Li → 6He+γ* process is found, that allows to foressen the value of the internal conversion coefficient for the π-+6Li → 6He+e++e- process
