Description
The described plug, which was the subject of a qualification program on mock-up, can be considered as meeting the general specifications of these components. The possibility to realize a tightness by radial expansion of a metallic o-ring has been demonstrated. Such a type of plug, specially designed to obturate tubes of nuclear steam generators, could be adapted for other purposes, provided certain modifications of characteristics. (author)
